Thank you, we enjoyed our stay and found the room comfortable. The staff were always courteous and helped with our enquiries! We found the Motel very conveniently placed to see Raglan.

I did have a good stay at the motel. The management and services were good. However I have a few suggestions to make.

1) Ensure that the doors and windows of the units are easy to open and close. The first night I was there I couldn't get the high window to close resulting in me having to endure all the noises from the courtyard and the snoring of another guest all night My door was also very hard to open and close. The office was already close for the day when I tried to close the window. However, these issues were resolved the next day. Thank you.

2) Making the ceiling soundproof to reduce thumping noises from upstairs.

3) Provide some shampoos, conditioners, body lotions and tissue papers. It doesn't cost the earth. Some guests will appreciate the gesture very much

Thank you for your honest helpful feedback which has prompted us to check all doors and windows.

The soap we use in the showers is a high grade body shampoo and Hair shampoo. We moved to this a few years ago as we found that many guest simply cleaned out the rooms of consumables and the costs were creeping up. 

The move to flowing soap has enabled us to keep our tariff at a sustainable level and introduce new services such as free broadband internet.

Things that would be good in the house would be;

No ants

Access to washing machine and dryer, we realise you are worried about running out of water but you could offer the washing facilities in house for add on to cover water, most people would pay the add on.

BBQ clean and not all dirty and rusty

Steel for sharpening knives

A can opener that works

An up to date “things to do and services in area” manual and maps

Otherwise good thanks

Hi Daniel the house is owned by Annette and Andrew White. we have passed your comments over to them and below is their reply.

It's a shame that the extensive rain drove the Ants into the house. We appreciated your understanding in this matter.

We maintain a fumigation program and as such the house was to be treated mid January. We have organised this immediately.

I have now provided the house with a new set of Wiltshire knives a can opener and we are in the process of obtaining more info from the local Isite.
