The Karioi room and Courtyard make an ideal Wedding venue. We can accommodate up to 90 guests for dining and dancing. The Courtyard can also be used as an extension of the karioi room for outside dining and refreshments.
Hire of the karioi room for a wedding is $1500, this is for a 36 hour hire, which allows time for set up the day before, so you can customise the venue to your theme. Hire for other events is on a pro rata time basis.
Venue hire includes use of the kitchen (subject to conditions). We also supply tables, chairs and arrange on your behalf the hire of table cloths.
Normal operating hours are 7 AM to 10 PM, extensions can be applied for, but only if the entire venue, including all accommodation is booked for the function
Alternatively you can arrange your own catering in which case there may be a fee for use of our kitchen cooking facilities and crockery / cutlery
Bar
We have a fully licensed bar and our license limits outside or BYO alcohol on the premises, however BYO wine and non alcoholic drinks are welcome. There is a corkage fee of $6 per bottle of wine with a minimum charge of $500.00 to cover the bar costs.
Music
We have state of the art music and DVD systems which are available at no extra charge when hiring the Karioi room. Live music is also permitted by arrangement.
