This is RAGLAN Situated on the West Coast of the North Island at Latitude 37, Raglan enjoys a maritime climate with year round mild weather. This latitude is similar to San Francisco and Lisbon in the northern hemisphere.
Any time is a good time to visit although outdoor activities are more suited between September and April.
The town is easily accessible, a 2 hour drive south of Auckland International Airport and 45 minutes from Hamilton. Raglan is a great holiday destination, ideal for a weekend get away or a base to explore the local area.
Increasingly the town is a stop over point for tourists traveling to or from Auckland Airport to explore the North Island West Coast and Waitomo Caves.
Raglan has a population of around 4000 and is spread around the southern shores of the harbour, with the surf beaches about 4km away .
