A tidy and friendly motel right in the middle of Raglan township. 2 minute walk to local pub and shops with cafes and other restaurants. Rooms where clean and tidy and a nice central courtyard with tables and chairs. Motorcyclist friendly as they let you take your bike into the court yard off the road.

This is a comfortable motel. Our room was very clean and reflects the quality of cleaning staff. It is up for sale for those who have a spare 4 point something million in their back pocket. Very close to the town center with good shops, hotel and cafes’. This is a quiet and relaxing motel and we did enjoy our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, the Tui Suite was just what we needed and it was well appointed, modern and very clean. Would recommend the Sunset Motel to anyone looking to go to Raglan, close to everything the town has to offer.

Great accommodation in Raglan. Look no further, this is it. The very best of Raglan. It is very close to shops, bars, cafes, and a museum. The host Jo is very welcoming so does our room. It is very clean, quiet, and has lots of amenities included. Definitely recommended for anyone who is looking for accommodation in Raglan.

We will be back again with more girls who need a weekend away to relax and de-stress, We plan to make it a regular stay. Those beds are to die for, all of us wanted to take them home. The room and amenities were spotlessly clean and the outdoor areas were all maintained to a very high standard. The spa pool was just what we needed too. Close to town. Informative information left in the room on what to do and see. Very friendly welcoming staff and management. See you again soon.

Very good communication and room was open and ready with heater going. The Motel is literally around the corner from Raglan shops and restaurants, so can walk to all amenities. (As close as you can get with an en suite). Room was clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when visiting the area.

The motel is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The motel looks quite plain from the outside but the rooms are really nice, spacious and modern and spotlessly clean with small outside balconies for sitting. The bathrooms are also spacious and well lit with really good water pressure in a large shower. The inner courtyard looks very nice. Friendly management and easy check-in. Would stay here again

Great location to village and all cafes. Walking distance to the water. Good size room, comfy bed and bath in the en-suite. Really enjoyed relaxing in the spa after a day of driving and walking. Nice courtyard for a bbq lunch or dinner.

Spacious, Clean Rooms & Great Location. We had wonderful weekend getaway in Raglan and our stay at the Sunset Motel was a bonus. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice large bathroom. The staff were very friendly and the location was ideal. I liked the balcony which looked onto the courtyard which had picnic tables and the 'all important BBQ'. I will be back another day.

Comfy bed, good TV channels, nice shower. Thank you so much for a lovely stay in Raglan! We especially appreciated the late checkout granted to us at 9:50am! Very kind. The room was clean, large bathroom with bath, lovely courtyard to enjoy the last of the day's sun, and friendly service upon arrival.

Time to have a night out of Auckland. Having stayed at Sunset before we happily booked again. Downstairs room all ready and open for us when we arrived, all clean and inviting. Happy smilling host chatted about fishing spots. Comfy room with full facilities. A quiet night with no background noise!!!!

5 stars as nothing was less than expected only better, clean, great location, perfect service, convenient, loved it, will definatly stay again! Located right in town with shops and restaurants at your door step as well as the water front right there, great area to walk around and enjoy the raglan vibe 👌

Lovely stay here one night, staff were great and room was clean!! Very close to restaurants and cafes!! Would stay again!! Walkways and beaches close as well so lots to do for all ages. Had a great stay.

Very impressed with the Motel, we had a group booking of 20 people and it was very easy to organise with the staff. Breakfast and lunches were yummy! The rooms were very clean and tidy. Thank you for having us!

I hired the Karioi Conference room for a one day workshop. It is beautifully light and airy room and was newly painted. Everything we needed was there; room set up exactly as I wanted, which made it so much easier to focus on my training. I wish other venues would realise the role they play in a presenter having a successful course. Jo and her team set a fantastic standard which impressed all the participants. I'll definitely be back again.

My husband and I enjoyed a 4 night stay and returned for 3 more nights. Such a convenient location, 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Added bonus of guests laundry with washing machines; dryers and clothes line. We will definitely be back.

We arrived when the office was shut, but a quick call on their intercom was answered that our accommodation had been prepared and we just needed to head to the unlocked room (Tahi Suite). I was super impressed - the room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The Tahi suite has its own private outdoor area and is located on the ground floor. The kitchenette was full of clean gadgets and there was a little packet of milk in the fridge ready to use. The TV took a few moments to figure out and you do hear the comings and goings of other guests. But you can’t beat the location and friendliness and the care of the staff.

Bed was super comfy. Excellent Amenities. Pleasantly satisfying stay. I found this place perfect for my overnight stay after tramping around in the Pirongia ranges. We also spent some time kayaking in the Wainui stream which is our favorite activity in Raglan.
